While pumping gas at the Mobil gas station in the Crossings Kendall, Fl. It's the only station in the Crossings community, an elderly lady was in distress. Her vehicle would not start after she filled up. I tried jumping it and no dice. This particular station has a garage that does work for the area. The owner of the garage business is also the lead Tech. He comes out and explains to the lady, after testing the battery, that she needs an alternator and battery and after speaking with her further, that he would do the work at no cost. She burst into tears of gratitude and I left the station and continued on to Publix grocery which is adjacent. While there i decided to run back home, put 10 jugs of clearance PP 10w30 i bought at $4.85 ea. into my car and give it to this shop. The gentleman was in shock and touched. I said it was no problem at all...we all have to do our part.

Being a member here has afforded me these opportunities. Thanks to you all.

Happy New Year Bitogers

Thats what I'm talking about.

Right on Brother... These are the kind of stories I like to hear.
Heck, enough to encourage myself to do something nice..!

The tech started the good deed, you followed up with another and something good will come to you. What goes around comes around.

Great story! If we all always try to do some good deeds in our lives, this world would be a better place. Such acts like this gives you the most satisfaction in life.

Great act you did. I hope others can read this and be inspired to always help people in distress.

I will never forget the day I went offroading and bursted a tire. I was basically stranded and it would have cost me a fortune to get out of there if people did not come by. A group of complete strangers with great rigs stopped and helped me. I offered them money and they refused and asked if I could please just go to their website and leave a comment. Which I did.

Here is the thread with tons of pictures...

Me, getting helpp from strangers when I bursted a tire offroading...
