German Mann filters for all makes and models?

A website called cfpfilters.com sells Mann filters. At first I found their purolator clone ML-1008, but then I went to the main page and clicked on the Baldwin link, then it had me look up the product number of a Baldwin filter and then showed me the Mann version of that filter. When I looked up b1402 (the standard Baldwin size for my 02 civic), this came up

I'm not to sure what to make of this.

Every MANN filter I've had has been very well built. I'd use a MANN without giving it a second thought.

MANN+HUMMEL is one of the parent companies of Purolator Filter. In fact, some Purolator filters are repackaged MANN products...

Mann is a large European OEM. Along with Hengst they make tons of air and oil filters. They make all the BMW, Audi/VW, Mercedes, etc. filter.s I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Wow I've never seen the equivalent WIX 51356 or in a what looks like a black Euro Mann filter and not a Puro Clone. If it is just the wrong picture it is a real ripoff for a ML-1008. I don't know what to make of it either.

not sure I want to shill out that kind of money to find out. Just bought a pair of Baldwin b1431's anyway.

I have noticed when crossing filters on Mann's website alot of times it list both a ML and W filter.

Has anyone cut open a MANN W filter before? I would be interested and see what it looked like.

American built MANN and Bosch filters are Purolators. Not sure about the Bosch but they are the white MANN filters. The black MANN filters are built in Germany or Austria. The also say that they are built there.

Based on efficiency being the same and r-r's bench testing here, Bosch Premium is a P1 clone. Mann white, look very similar to Puro Classic likely are very close/same, but unlike Classic, afaik no efficiency rating is listed for the Mann. Looks like a quality filter though.
