Has anyone notice any MPG increase with MMO in their gas?..I've tried FP and lucas on my 91 pathfinder w/ a 3.0 V6 engine with no MPG increase during the summer months. however the FP helps on the winter by about 2MPG. Right now I would get 15 MPG city regardless I use FP or not..I'm desperately trying to get more miles to a gallon cause of the gas price around here..The truck is in tip top condition w/ 145k miles on it and just finished a double ARX treatment..any input is appreciated.

my gas milage just keeps getting worse and worse in my old isuzu rodeo.. mmo hasn't changed anything. but I can sleep a little easier knowing that the upper end is getting some slight cleaning/lube.

I have not noted any increase using lucas, MMO or FP, and we log every single tank in 8 vehicles.

Im in the VI this week, and put MMO into my GF's 4runner (1990 with the 2.4L engine). we shall see...

In fact, now that I think of it, using higher than 4oz/10gal in my BMW DROPS my MPG by 3-4 every time, very easily reproduced.

My milage has increased using MMO and midgrade rather than high-test. Not sure what it is yet but I have gone further than ever on this tank of gas with this mix. Will report back with exact milage. Was getting 30.25 mpg with Shell V power. Wonder if it is the MMO or midgrade shell.

I've always found that in my saab, which prefers premium but will adjust timing and boost down to run on 87, that the lower octane fuels always give me better gas mileage. I don't care enough to suffer the noticeable loss in performance, though.

Yep, Trionic 7 9-5. I am also in the process of parting out my beloved T5 (greatest engine mgt. system ever) 900. It met an untimely end at 191k miles when I was involved in a wreck w/ a big ISuzu COE truck.

I have only used MMO in the crankcase, substituting it for a quart of oil for a "flush" once a year or so in my 2000 Chev Silverado 5300.

I have been doing this during the last 3 years.

Fuel mileage on the highway improved by 2.5 mpg.

I use Exxon or Chevron gas, 87 octane, with the occassional Gumout FI cleaner thrown in.

Looks like I was overly optomistic about the milage with midgrade and MMO. It is the same as normal V power and no MMO. So It seems no effect to milage which is what I would have expected. I had done several milage check with various grades of gas with this car and milage is always identical no matter what grade is used. It does seem shell V power gives me the best milage but the midgrade gave identical milage so must be shell gas gives the best milage. I will report back on shell v power and MMO so see what happens with it but I expect it to stay to same.
