^^This times a million!! Women in their 20s are WAY to immature to marry and raise kids. I constantly hear all these 20something chicks, either married, with kids,or both, talk about wanting to get drunk and party and go bar hopping etc,or saying OMG Facebook this or Facebook that.. I'm thinking to myself "Chica you're a MOM and a WIFE,not a teenage schoolgirl, good God,grow up! I feel embarssed for them, could anyone here imagine their mom going "clubbing" or getting drunk or partying? Geez.

You make a good point. I know of several "moms" that do just that. They post everything on Facebook like they are a sophomore in high school and looking for attention. Lip-pucker pics (what is it with that anyway? Looking like a goldfish isn't attractive to real men), photos holding up bottles of brew, and then they throw in a photo or two of the kids, while exclaiming how great a mother they are.

Idiots.

My mom? Even if Facebook was around then, she would not have used it for anything other than basic communication. She was busy raising the family....cooking, cleaning, disciplining us. No way she'd be caught dead goofing around in such a childish manor. I see young mothers walking the kids to school every day...face PLANTED in a smartphone. They barely look up. Poor kids. They will grow up feeling that they aren't as important as some moron posting a "pucker" pic.

Man no doubt! Nothing I hate more than middle aged chicks making duckface selfies.

I for one find bar hopping or clubbing very unattractive - a few drinks here and there is OK with me, but I don't see the fun in getting hammered.

We got married at 21. Our first son came 11 yrs later. We had fun for those yrs and bought a house. The main thing about child rearing that is being ignored is that child care is a 24/7 job. Parents are the best care providers, or grandparents. We happened onto this revelation when I got laid off. I took care of the Kids and MDW worked. Or vice versa. But one of us was in the home when the kids were. No "professional" daycare. So maybe, the thing to do is to get established. Then have kids when you are set up somewhat. And are habituated to each other. Get comfortable and have kids in your 30s not your 20s.

She's 4 years older than him, he should look for someone 4 years younger., Theres lots of women out there don't settle for an old one. Women are just like buying a car, find one with low miles, and not too many owners...

No,of course not. The point I was trying to make was about these 30-40 something guys wanting to marry these 18-20 year old girls. Yeah they may be hot and all,but the very second they start OMG'ing and LOL'ing I'd think it'd get old very fast. I find older mature women WAY more attractive then young immature chicks.

I got your point...and agree with you. Nothing like a mature woman that carries herself like a real lady.
It's a beautiful thing to behold...something sadly lost on most of todays younger females.

Autism rears its ugly head in children of men over 40 far more frequently as well.

I wouldn't consider autism to be ugly - it's a spectrum and the brain is wired to pick up social cues differently as well as develop differently. It's becoming more prevalent and I'm from the school of thought that it's a difference with the appropriate support - however the public school system doesn't do a good job educating children with learning differences and psychology/psychiatry still treats autism as something that needs to be wiped off the face of the earth(via ABA therapy and "normalizing" kids with an ASD).

I have personal experience with this, but I'd rather save deeper discussion via PM.

Pardon the expression. I admit, that was a little insensitive of me.

The reason I caution about autism is that an autistic child can be extraordinarily challenging to raise. It's a lot of work with very few breaks.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Everyone has two kids a house married and one or two dogs. Why can't people be different and do something else.

I'd love to date a girl who can't have kids. Don't have to worry about her getting pregnant or whether or not she's taking her birth control at the correct time everyday. I don't trust people very easily if you haven't noticed. lol

Just because someone claims they are a Christian doesn't mean they act that way.

I have an e-wife that proves that point.
