I wonder if that pithy phrase will catch on around here.

Woops! My mistake. I forgot that the PC term for fiberboard is engineered media. LOL!

5.29 quart at miejer could mean a 5 quart jug at walmart less than 20.00, very interesting- if it is same qaulity as mc full syn, or kendall full syn

I would have no problem using it because Fram didn't have any part of making it it. That is just putting your name on another product( I assume it is just a relabled CP oil and not made to Fram spec's anyway ). CP makes great oils so for that reason I would use it. However, I can go get Kendall GT1 full synthetic for $4.99 so I wouldn't pay $5.29 for Fram.

same here, just because of the kendall name even if if they were the same oil

Fred Meyer is a one stop market. It's mostly a super market. So they price their dry goods a little higher then say Walmart and Target. This oil will sell for cheaper at other stores.

Conoco-Phillips lost a big account when GI Joes went under up here in the Northwest. You could buy Super 76 for under a 2 bucks all day and night. Fred Meyer is one of the biggest chains in the Northwest. So maybe CP worked out a deal to stock this Fram oil.

I hope people don't blame the oil since FRAM didn't make it
