I would pass on this and wait until Costco puts Kirkland synthetic on sale for $15 if you’re looking for a low cost synthetic that is of decent quality. This one sounds like it might just be the bottom of the barrel
Rural King has Providence Synthetic oil for $15.99/5qt Jug. 0w20, 5w20, 5w30, 10w30. Does anyone know anything about it? Not sure if it is their house brand or what,
I thought that it goes on sale twice a year? I know that up here in Canada it was on sale last fall and again in the spring. That’s often enough for people to stock up
I think you nailed it bbhero....the jugs are identical so I would agree that Providence Oil is made by Warren Oil of Dunn NC (not WPP) and no longer made by Citgo.
The question I have is whether it's identical to their LubriGold or Coastal versions? Probably is.
