Foster Rear Brakes

2017 with 109k on original brakes. Front still have a bit over 6mm left and rear were at 4mm a few months ago. Had time this week so had the rears done at Subaru dealer. $325 out the door. Resurfaced rotors and new pads and car wash and vacuum. Took about 1.5 hours. I enjoyed an hour long walk with "free" coffee and snacks at each lap 🤣

For the time and effort and hassle, I'm ok with labor and having someone to blame if they freeze up in a week.
 
Had my Ford Edge rears changed at the local Firestone shop because they were noisy, the wife was barking about it (her car) and I was too lazy to do it. $400, was surprised by that but people gotta eat. I don't begrudge them.

Brakes, oil changes (and cook) are three items I can still reliably do.
