Not familiar with the Refiner. All of the.tp filters ive used stopped the wrinkels before they got to the bottom especially the.standard Frantzs.Wrinkles usually happen when oil pressure pushes.down on the paper. The only way toilet paper is a perfect fit is if the.core.is 1
.1/2 inches or you use a sleeve. The Frantz element is 1 1/2 inch ID.

I havent used the factory Frantz elements since the 80s They were like Scott 1000 with a 1 1/2 inch ID core. In those days all tp had a 1 1/2 inch ID core
