After mulling it over for 2 years finally picked up a Cub ZTS2 54in . This to replace my Simplicity 2011 46in rider. Should be a nice upgrade! Has the 24hp Kohler on it, and ZT 2800 diffs

I’ve got the non-steering wheel version with the 50” deck and Kawasaki engine. Mine has the ZT-2800 drive units, Cub later switched to Tuff Torque TZ 350’s on those. Love my mower, less than an hour to do 2 acres!

Cool! How is the throttle actuated on that?

I have a Gravely ZTXL with the ZT-2800s.

What oil will you run?

I decided on M1 15W-50 to simplify things since that’s what the hydros call for.

Foot pedal just like normal rider. Ya good idea on oil I may do same. Did first cut yest, soooo happy with it.

Awesome!

I’m running a mulching kit on mine.

Came in handy last fall with the leaves.

You doing traditional side discharge or mulch?
Well.....not sure yet. My old rider used to cut grass pretty fine, so just did side discharge. I'll have to see how this does, only cut once so far. Works sooooo well and is way more comfortable
