Well, after a decade in which I have owned four VWs, I finally had to take the 2019 in for a warranty repair. The passenger side rear window started to go down automatically when I put it up. Took it in to the dealer this AM and it was quickly repaired by adjusting the "limit of travel" of the window. No charge under the 7 year, 84,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty that came with the car.

Sounds like the standard "reset express windows after battery reset"

Could do it yourself with a brief battery disconnect?

Late model Prius owners know what I'm on about

Yeah sometimes they glitch. To reset the travel limits for one touch up and down lower window all the way and hold switch down for 5 seconds then roll window up and hold switch up for 5 seconds. If it reverses again check the window rubber and lubricate if needed to overcome friction that is causing it to reverse as it is a safety feature thinking fingers or an arm is in the way.
