Did you install a flow meter in the oiling system. Just how did you determine the flow is "never better".

You would need a differential pressure gauge, even better.

Yep there. We discussed that elsewhere on bitog. Would like to see car makers install an oil pressure sensor between oil pump and filter, then compare with engine oil pressure for differential across the filter; when it exceeds a certain value at a chosen rpm and temperature, then time to change should be know, similar to whats done with air filter minders.
