The reason I initially narrowed it down to Fram/Purolator is because that's usually what I recall finding locally. I have to drive a little further to find the Wix and my Napa usually has to order everything. K&N is a good deal but not sure I want to stock up on a bunch of filters for this car.
I emailed Fram and asked about the difference between the two part numbers and they said the PH7317 (which crosses to the Purolator L14610) could leak. They don't offer the recommended PH5343 in TG or Ultra. It doesn't make me confident how the part numbers don't line up between manufactures. With reports of Purolators tearing, I think I'll try to seek out a Wix.
