Filling out Polaris form

Im confused on what it wants where.
Do I have to fill out the account registration form?
It makes references to Customer and Sales Rep, like a resale situation?
For Unit ID I could put "CrownVic" and Secondary put "Trans" or "Engine" to differentiate the two in the same unit, Right?
For Unit Model should I put the model of the car, or the engine/transmission model? I assume the latter but Im not sure.

If you ordered online you are likely already registered and dont have to fill out the account registration.

Look under Component Registration on the first line *Account Number and see if you see "ONLINE-xxxx" where the x's are numbers. If you see that its your account number and you have already been registered.

For ID of individual vehicles I use my Unit Number for the primary and the last 6 of the VIN for the secondary and Polaris adds a suffix to identify the component. For private vehicles I just make something up like PT1 (pickup truck 1)

Example: Unit ID - PT1
1. Oil Sample Engine
2. Oil Sample Trans
3. Oil Sample Transfer Case
4. Oil Sample Front Axle
5. Oil Sample Rear Axle

Polaris will ID them as:
1. PT1E
2. PT1T
3. PT1TC
4. PT1FA
5. PT1RA
