This is specifically for our ‘22 Subaru Crosstrek and ‘07 Pontiac Vibe which my wife daily drives to see patients a throughout the day. She sits in the cars while documenting so they idle for long periods of time with the AC on. Also, they’re turned on and off like a dozen times a day. I do 5k mi. OCI’s. Few questions for y’all.

-Would a EP, HM, or Euro oil be better for her type of use than the regular FS oils?
-Would it hurt to use HM oil in the Subaru with only 30k mi?
-0w20 is what Subaru recommends, most likely for CAFE ratings. Should I go up to a w30?
-What oil would you run?

For 5k, it doesn't matter
There is nothing wrong with using HM oil in a low-mileage car
Nothing wrong with 0w20 or 5w20 or 0w30 or 5w30
For 5k, use the cheapest synthetic on sale

For the Subaru filter, use Wix/Napa Gold, Wix XP/Napa Platinum, or Full

For the Vibe, use any Fram 4386 (orange, TG, Ultra, Endurance, etc)
