Ethanol in Chevron gas in KY

Does Chevron gas, especially 93 octane, have ethanol in KY? I am haveing hard time figuring this out. Ky does not require pump posting. Is there a web site?

I have asked the clerk at a couple of stations, As expected, they knew nothing. A couple of searches on this forum did not reveal much.

I would also be interested in Shell, BP and others. TIA

I prefer Makers's Mark or Woodford Reserve. Often cheaper than gasoline.

Oh yes, Makers Mark has worked well for years. Don't know about your ethanol question in KY. We have ethanol in everything here in WI.

I have been to Wasusa. My daughter lives there. Visted Wasusa last summer.

Not a single E-free station listed so you can assume that everything has it. There are kits to detect it but if you can get whiff of real gas to remember what it smells like you can sniff out ethanol without the need for test kits.

Any area requires ethanol delivery and storage at the tank farms and the station tanks must be prepped to handle ethanol. Once the first E10 station shows up in your area it is only a matter of time before they all do. (Your) Free money does that to corporations.

I went south hoping for ethanol free fuel. In just a single year all the remaining E-free stations disappeared and now I'm no better off than where I came from up north.

Thanks, Looks like that answered the question. Also from Chevron's web site it appears they do use Ethanol as an oxygennate (spelling). Just wish Ky required label posting.

True,but as far as I know, the sticker is not required. Also i think Louisvile and Northern Ky require "winter" gasoline.

Who knows? This stuff is not easy to find out about. I do know my mileage went down about 2-3 mpg all at once this summer. I suspect that is when most pumps in Ky went ethanol in all brands???

How does this site work? I could not find any stations in several states that sell real gas?

You did change the state, right? When KY is selected pushpins are not shown in any other state.

I know they don't have complete coverage so I use the presence of push pins to indicate that real gas is still available in the area. I do my own search to find convenient stations that have it.

Otherwise, send your stations in. We're all going to lose the ability to get E0 in the end anyways.
