I’ve never actually filled up there, but I’ve driven past their pumps, and I don’t see any signs saying “contains 10% ethanol.” The only thing labeled is E85. I also checked pure-gas.org, but that station doesn’t show up on their site. None of the Gas N Wash do. Anyone have any info?

Looks generic, I would pass. Octane isnt everything, I need a name brand fuel.
It all comes from the same distribution center, and likely the same refinery by region.

They often have different add packs but all will have the minimum requirements. High turn stations will be fresher (octane only lasts so long) and newer stations are less likely to have leaky tanks, although it all goes through a very fine filter anyway.

Gas in the USA is very highly regulated. You might have stations be suspect due to low turn or lack of maintenance, but there is no such thing as "bad gas" coming from the distribution center.

In my area if it don't say Ethanol FREE its got Ethanol in it!
I always liked and used name brand top gas and or top tier but I can no longer find 91+ ethanol free in a Name brand gas!

In my toys that need pure no ethanol gas I found one local station selling 93 pure gas and a pump with 93 at my normal vacation spot. I do live in a boating area so lots of ethanol free but its only 87 or 89 octane . I use the Pure 93 in my Classic and New Harley, Old lawn mowers and a stored Dodge Hellcat and has proven over 2 years of use its good running fresh gas! The old pump looks scary but gas runs fine.

Sadly, long gone is name brand 93 octane ethanol free in my area. I did spot one NEW Ethanol free Shell pump being installed but sadly only 89 octane! My new Harley calls for 91 minimum and that 89, even 90 octane will ping on a hot day but it loves the 93!

Some states may not require it to be posted until it's over 10%? 10% ethanol has obviously been around for a long time and is standard at the pumps basically. Just assume it's 10% unless stated otherwise.

My '01 HD requires 91 minimum. I run E10 93 all summer and the last fill up in the fall it gets the E0 89 gas and fuel stabilizer. I just don't crank on it with the EO in it. Hasn't blown up in 24 yrs. yet.

Only 1 name brand station with 93 E0 fuel near me, and it's an Exxon. The pump is labeled as "Rec Fuel" and every time I get that fuel, it has tested zero ethanol content. Granted, last time I bought some, it was $5.79/gal. Area average at the time was $2.79/gal. for 87 E10. Goes in all my OPE and buying 2 gallons each month or so isn't very painful. The rest of the E0 stations are no names that I would be skeptical of ethanol content, octane rating, or fuel quality in general, and only one of them has 93 E0.

All Gas N Wash are in NE IL. Nearly all of that area (maybe all) is covered under the E10 mandate. I can't imagine them not mentioning an ethanol free product.
You can get ethanol free gas here in IA at some stations. It’s always 93 and a $1 or more than E10. E15 is slowly replacing E10 here.

everyone else has said the same but I'll add, if it doesn't say 0% ethanol or "ethanol-free" even rec-fuel it's not ethanol free. The gas stations like to advertise ethanol-free fuel, they won't try to hide it, it's always a higher price, gas stations love their profit.
