Just to let anyone if you're in western North Carolina and don't have power or internet and you drive a general motors car with OnStar contact OnStar, and they will give you one month of disaster relief WiFi through OnStar so that you can make calls email a message.

keep in mind, 2015, or older GM models would have the old 3G chipsets, and their Onstar service longer function. ( OnStar Runs on the Cell networks. if the cell networks are down, OnStar is as well.)
there are upgrades available, but it's something you'd have to have done yourself( either DIY, or pay your GM Dealer to do it ) , it's not an automatic upgrade, or a recall or anything.
