Well I finished my short OCIs after some engine work and though I'd try something new. I know everyones worries about the butched SN version but eh, it can't be that bad, a MRV of -17,000 @ -40. I wonder how the mrv spec can be like that if the pour point is -38F? Its been cold here lately, some sub-zero temps and many 0F starts. Anyway, I'm not that concerned extreme cold performance as I don't need it. Will run this 7.5K and UOA to possibly extend it further. I'm not a GTX or Castrol fan in general all but I took advantage of the BOGO on Edge at AAP.

Here's my first impressions: The oil runs very smooth and the engine is nice and quiet. This oil is also very light colored which made it hard to tell at first. Hopefully it will darken up as it does some cleaning. Time will tell and will update. After all we all know my taurus is going to self-implode due to the thin 0w-20.

Thanks for the check-in! Please keep us updated with how your OCI proceeds with the Edge Ti 0w20.

I have five quarts of it ready and waiting for my next oil change on my Focus. Look forward to comparing notes on how it runs.

^ For sure. I was able to get 6 quarts of Edge Ti 0w20 for BOGO, totalling $26.

In the future, I intend to buy Mobil 1 0w20 for $25 a jug.
