Early Bronco sighting this morning .

Please excuse my driving and picture taking.

Spotted this early Bronco this morning. Although the rear fenders are cut its still super nice .


Many of them have had an automatic transmission put in them. This one was still a 3 on the tree.

And I thought I was the only person around here that knew how to shift that. LoL

I still have yet to drive a three on a tree. I "know" how to do it, just have never had the chance.
I remember my older brother test driving my grandpa's 1963 Ford F-100 farm truck. It had an inline 6 of some sort and three on the tree as they say. Wooden bed too.
 
If anyone thinks having a manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter is a great way to prevent your vehicle from being stolen (and it is)...a "three on the tree" takes that to a whole new level!

Yep, column shift is never anywhere near as pleasant to use as a floor shifter.
There were a number of Euro cars that had four on the tree back in the day. That would have to get old quickly.
