I ordered one unit from www.drfuelmax.com . Guess what, the **** thing seems to work. However, We have two cars and we monitor the fuelconsumption and miles driven. It will take some 2-3 months(and 12-13000 miles) to get accurate numbers on both cars. We have the exact numbers on one of the cars from 0 miles and to where it is now(95000miles). I am going to order the second unit, 11 days from now. I read about it here on BITOG first and then decided to order it, after closer investigation. It is a Japanese invention, and they don't like to loose face, so I thought it would be a better chance that this thing worked, than if it was made in the US. The other thing that caught my attention, was the testing performed at Toyota in Japan. The third thing, was the findings of the Maxima driver from New York, that bought the device and reported his findings. Since the car I installed it in(yesterday) is a 2.8 liter diesel with six sylinders, I can say that the noise from the engine have been reduced some 20-30% and the acceleration is remarkebly faster. However, I want to see if it does something with the fuel consumption before I know for sure this is THE REAL THING. The car I drive is a 1990 model Nissan Laurel 2.8 diesel. The other car, that is driven by my wife, is a Mercedes Vaneo 1.7cdi 2003 model. I haven't told her about Drfuelmax and i am not going to tell her that I put it in her car. If the fuelconsumption on that car goes down, then this thing works. This testing will be good enough for me, since I don't have 235 million USD to do some more extencive testing to satisfy those people who will always say that things doesn't work. I'll let you know my findings, probably in the month of December.

Chuckled a few time on this page of the board.

"Our catalyst is guaranteed to increase your overal power output by 8%~18%"

"I abruptly stomped on the gas, all the way down, and all I can remember afterwards is literally needing a change of shorts. What happened was, there was so much combustion going on within the engine chamber, that when I demanded the sudden surge of power from my car, my car leaped foward like a frog! It chirped aggressively at 65 mph, and the front end of my car literally lifted off the ground!"

"Literally" the car rose off the ground in front.

Literally? Ahhhh, marketing hype. More accurate would be "my car didn't lift off the ground in front but I wish I could tell you it really did."

Of course.....I believe the auto the bloke writes of is a front-whell drive critter... a 2004 Maxima. Sheeesh, anuddah Web search.

Okay, 2 sites proclaiming FWD.

Hey!!!! Toss some believable scientific replicable testing results at from from a reliable reputable source but one has to look askance at the horde of "new and improved" devices offering so much but, as the past proves over and over and over and over, the proclamations fail to replicate themselves in the real world.

Small snippet of much larger post quoted to stimulate discussion of item/events of interest to the public. Follow the link for much more.

Only $299? Wow, such a deal!

If drfuelmax is not a site sponsor, you are not allowed to post that link to their site. Just a FYI, in case the moderators come down on you. I made that same mistake in the past too.

Actually, it cost me 310USD, included freight. This seems to be the best car-related product I have ever purchased. OOOps, this is not one of the magnets you put on fuel system. It is very fun to see all the people having so many ideas of what this product is, and what it does, without testing it themselves. Probably it is their way to let out some other frustrations in their lives. If you haven't tried it, all your writing would only be (qalified) guesswork. This thing is working for me on the one car I have installed it. I am also purchasing another unit to the cost of 310USD, within two weeks. Normally, me and my wife use 700USD in diesel fuel a month. This devices should pay for themselves within 4-5 months. It is really great to be the first person in Europe to order this. It is a bit fun to see that americans are sceptical to new tings. It is good to be sceptic to a certain point, but then you will NEVER discover things that really works, either. Take Auto-Rx as an example. I'll still let you all know my fuelsavings in the furure months to come, since BITOG is based on the idea that members should report their findings to other members. As far as I know, it is not a demand that you should have a fully equipped test-facility to report your personal findings. Another annoying thing, is that some persons on the board, seem to have as their main purpose to ridicule other peoples findings, without having any documentation to back it up with. Everybody can sit at the computer and write **, like "ebaker" did. How cool is that? The point is, he doesn't have enough balls to do something in the real life.

For real credibility, they need to send a couple of those things to SWRI to test. www.swri.org

Lube Control sent in their FP60 and they are a micro sized business.

Moderator, why did you sensure my B.S. and not ebakers? Would really like an answer to that matter.

biomed_eng_2000, I don't think they have to do that. Just look what Auto-Rx did. They didn't do it and they are going strong. The point is: They have sufficient documentation, but your problem is that the testing is done at Toyota in Japan. Toyota, that is known to be a small backyard company, cannot be trusted in their findings, but you have to use SWRI. It really make sense...

Enough fun for me today. I am taking some days off from BITOG, but will be back in a few days to see if somebody else that have tested it over a few hundred miles, have reported their findings.

Yeah baby:

"thermally impervious, bullet-like...begins a chemical chain reaction ... converted into light, highly combustible molecules...phenomenal 99.86% fuel burning efficiency..."

Sounds like something that came out of the military fuel-air explosive development program. Yeah, I want THAT in my gas tank!

For such a wondrous product supposedly tied in with a major vehicle manufacturer there is sure a dearth of Google hits regarding the item.
