Yes after tapeing off the area and allowing it to dry and applying many coats .......or brush on dielectric grease
I also found it's best to just buzz the terminal nuts off with a 1/4" impact. That way you're not flexing the posts and stripping the nuts out. Was thinking I was going to have to cut them off, but they were okayIt's made crc and it seems to keep the corrosion at bay.
If you have corrosion the battery post seal is leaking. Other wise nothing is needed. Battery terminals are rather delicate to sideways torque.
Snake oilOver the years I have used to two felt rings on the posts and they have worked for me..
The felt rings never did anything corrosion wise for me. I think it made it worseSnake oil![]()
Yes...what the heck with folks coating the whole battery HAHAHAYou only use it on the terminals lol
Not for me no corrosion at all...on any of my vehicles and never had a terminal battery issue over the years...The felt rings never did anything corrosion wise for me. I think it made it worse
Which would have likely been the outcome without the pads. Confirmation bias. Not for me no corrosion at all...on any of my vehicles and never had a terminal battery issue over the years...
maybe but why take the chance....Which would have likely been the outcome without the pads. Confirmation bias.
