RES-Q-STEEL by Internations marine anti-seize. Anyone use it??
Fishermen in New Zealand swear by it. It's a red paste, MSDS ingredients are not listed, hence not toxic I guess. The only listed ingredient is crystalline silica (quartz), but less than 1%. The description says it has red oxide, which I guess gives it the red color.
Talking to some Kiwi fishermen apparently it's significantly better than regular metallic anti-seize (nickle, copper, etc) for marine applications where fasteners are spending lots of time in salt water. Apparently you can put this stuff on an anchor shackle bolt, and unwind it without problems after it has spent a year immersed in salt water.
