This regards a new AGM battery mounted correctly -just beneath the cowl- in a car.
It's <30 days old, spotless and measures 12.68 V first thing in the morning.
The posts + terminals weren't spray coated.

Would you coat the terminals with 'battery post sealer'?

Thanks fellas.
What I got to tell you is that I never knew about battery terminal sealer before a Sears installed a battery in my old van 30+ years ago.
It dawned on me that the posts were clean years after I bought the battery.

Is your disinclination to use the stuff because it's an AGM?

I don't use it on any and all lead acid. Best thing to use I think if you are in a high corrosion environment is silicone grease.
