It's made crc and it seems to keep the corrosion at bay.
I had new terminals put on and surprisingly not a hint of corrosion and I haven't even used that spray like I usually do. I need to jist replace the terminals in my other dodge too I guessI just use a few dabs of dielectric grease.
You only use it on the terminals lolI never sprayed an entire battery with the stuff but I've heard about it.
Sears & Roebuck used it on my battery and it lasted for years. I use it whenever I service a battery.
After thorough cleaning I spray the post and all sides of the terminal clamp and never get any corrosion. It works.
BONUS: They change the color randomly among purple, green and red.
Yeah I’ve never used anything on my battery terminals and have never had and corrosion on them. I’ve seen it on others vehicles but have never had the problem myself. If you have corrosion the battery post seal is leaking. Other wise nothing is needed. Battery terminals are rather delicate to sideways torque.
Yeah and the jackasses at autozone always has them at a 30 degree angle. From now on I'm just going to have them install them, and I'll do the hooking and unhooking of the terminals. They don't every understand that the posts are tapered and they always blame the terminals being bad as the reason they don't tighten. I take a small ball peen hammer and lightly tap them down onto the posts and they tighten just fine.If you have corrosion the battery post seal is leaking. Other wise nothing is needed. Must be what all that black waxy crap is that's coated all over when I'm trying to clean them. I took some sand paper and just lightly sanded all over the outside too just to brighten them up a tad. The nuts and bolts were fine too. **** guy at autozone was just lazyIt works but is a mess to deal with later on.
