Did I screw up with SynLube?

Well, that's like saying Toyo 0w20 oil is not respectable 'cause it comes in an ugly, generic, red bottle!
With all the poo-pooing here of aesthetics, I'd say that's not a good stand to take.
It either is a good product or not, website be danged.

I do have to say that a professionally designed website doesn't always mean what one might think it means.

After all, Warren Buffet lives in the same house he paid @31K for.

What does matter is the quality of the information. Like the RX-7 that claims to have gone all those miles on an oil that the same site states is not to be used with Mazda's rotary engine.

Actually it is Microsoft created web (FRONT PAGE DESIGN TEAM)
and Mr. Gates has SynLube in few of his cars that he never drives (few Lambo and RR) - I am told.

So may be you should tell the Microsoft people how childish they are and may be you can write better operating system, web sites, or what ever, than they have overnight.

Send me a copy I am willing to try it !

I have a WIN 7 computer that can use upgrade.

PS: How do I know ? Miro told me, and do I believe him ?

Not at first I did not, after all how many people really hang out with geeks like Mr Gates ? --- But once I saw him at COMDEX hanging out with Mr. Gates, so I do believe he knows him, I did ask and he tells me Gates is a fan of PRIMO LEVI who happened to work with Miro's family relative on the original SynLube formulation in 1944 - originally intended for Jet Engines made for war planes in Germany. Go search that one out, I did and it seems credible.

So when did Levi do that? Hard to do when he spent all of 1944 at a camp near Modena and at Auschwitz III-Monowitz. It was the latter place that he got a position as an assistant in IG Farben's Buna Werke laboratory that was intended to produce synthetic rubber.

Actually its a template anyone could use back in the days with the full version of office 97,front page had this template.....NO proper webpage designer even from that time would use this soft. As for Bill Gates he drives porches porches and again porches and a custom stretch corvette.......honestly you can do better, your credibility is already gone.
Only Chuck Norris could convince me to use your product, because everyone know, If Chuck touch your car ,your vehicle will never broke down.

In general. a company that refuses to develop a now cheap-to-do professional looking website (even ones a mildly savy person can do themselves is better than that one) has a stigma in my mind as a company with its priorities out of whack or a scam company that wishes not to put the time in to properly market its scam products.

A stinky hobo wearing tattered clothes could be selling the elixir of everlasting life but I'd never know because I wouldn't buy anything from him.

Seriously would anybody give this guy, a credit card number to order this product?

What credible internet site doesn't offer secure shopping?

Oh and the credit card is processed through Mirox corp. that's how he gets away with selling this in Nevada, since the company itself had it's license (Permanently Revoked) to do business.

The word is out on the internet, for all to see...Buyer Beware.

I said that to a friend in a PM just last night. LOL

Nice catch, LOL.

Probably Kirk and a few others too. LOL I can't believe people give their CC # to this guy. Ouch!

I'm sure there's an explaination. Sit tight it should be on its way some time today.

You hear about these internet chat rooms, where CC#'s are sold off. I believe I watched that on NBC Dateline.

I will have to find the website again, but their was a Synluber and I forgot the name, who stated that they received a "finders fee",for bringing in sales to Miro. Basically a 'Pyramid Scheme'

The funny thing was, in the 'pitch' the wording was almost verbatim, in describing the product. And the verbage hurled at the non-believers, was about the same as well.

MODS: How long will this person/people, be allowed to SPAM the site? I mean when does the entertainment end, and they start interfering with general enjoyment of the site?

I guess they feel BAD publicity, is better then NO publicity. Synlubers, you made yourselves, and your product look hilarious, the damage done was all your own.

Busted! Funny thing is they keep fighting. Might be time for a name change, going dark, then resurfacing at a later date. I'm sure they already know how that's done.

I'm hoping the mods leave it open a little longer, the rebuttal should be good, [entertainment value]. Especially on a rainy day like today, at least for me.

These guys seem pretty smart, but here's a tip I learned years ago. When you're in a hole, stop digging. Cheers!

Ankhmaat: As you appear to be Miro, duh...We would like to see an MSDS of your products...You can post them here or on your website...I may be wrong but I believe a MSDS has to be made available for the consumers.

What federal department list that as a requirement for chemicals?

I didn't quite realize what a poop-storm this thread would have caused. I guess I should have found out first whether or not the problem was lubrication related before posting. And for not doing so, I apologize.

What follows is some pictures. It does not look like any kind of lubrication failure. It looks like something got in the engine. I don't know what or how. I must have fraked up doing some of the mods.

That said, it doesn't look *that* bad to me, I'm no expert. I asked my shop what they think would have happened if we just changed the oil and called it a day. They say it would have seized up and thrown a rod for sure. I'm not so sure. I think if we dropped the pan, sprayed some cleaner from the bottom, changed the oil, maybe a couple of times in close succession, it probably would've been fine. But, I don't know. I do know, as per the other Speed driver here attests to, these cars are known for throwing rods, so, maybe it is for the best that I'm getting it built.

Though, I don't think I have any complaint about SynLube, I will not use it in the future. If for no other reason, if, hypothetically, I have another problem in the future, then the oil will always be a question, as I can see in this forum.

At the time I bought the product, I was not familiar with this site. Had I read some here about the product, I probably would not have gone with it. But, I can't say I had any problem with it either.

Again, since this is not a lubrication issue, I don't think this thread serves much purpose anymore. Here are the pics. The mods can lock or delete this thread if they so choose. Or maybe wait for a few comments about the pics and then lock it. Whatever. Here's the pics:

The good thing about this thread was it brought out the fact thay had there Business license 'Permanently Revoked' by Nevada

After considering what Demar had to say...Leave the thread open longer.

More and more info is being brought out for the public to see. The way Synlube came across unprofessionally, and the continuing shadyness that is being exposed about them day in and day out. Maybe someone when they hear about Synlube and want to do some internet research will come across this site and read the trollish posts and say NO F***ING WAY.

Give them a little more rope as the noose only gets tighter around there neck. Then BAN em'

"Did I screw up with SynLube?" Short answer, no. You screwed up by buying a line of bull that it was a lifetime fill. With overwhelming evidence from hundreds of thousands of drivers that regular oil changes can and will take care of a car, how could anyone believe the bull handed out by that guy and that site. Ludicrous...
This is only a guess, but I speculate that the only moving vehicle that has a lifetime fill is the rover on the moon filled with those Pennzane molecules. And that's only because NASA hasn't been back there yet.
