OP, I have an Idea. Make a simple website, put calculator there, add some ads on it and make some money

Easier for us to go there and try whole stash of various oil, that most have,and apply to all the cars they want.
More than 2000 view just from BITOG i little over than a day, not bad.

Here are two delivery trucks at my work...

2003 Ford E250 4.2L V6 240k miles - 5W-20 VWB
- no towing, see's up to a 1,500lbs load on a regular basis, kept in a heated warehouse overnight

2004 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 2.4L I4 (automatic) 150k miles - 5W-30 VWB
- no towing, see's up to a 700lbs load on a regular basis, kept in a heated warehouse overnight

The Valvoline used in these two is from the instant oil change shops, I'm not sure how their regular bulk oil compares to their VWB, you may know more than I do...

Try this one:

1967 VW Beetle, Rotella T6 5w-40 CJ4/SM

If it makes a difference, the engine is now 2276cc, fuel injected, uses a spin on filter, and has a deep sump giving it a total capacity of about 4 quarts and change.

My calculator says for a typical conventional oil, replenishing 1qt would benefit about 1000 miles.

Not sure how the air cooled engine will affect oil temps, so im gonna give you a range.

Mobil 1 0w-40. Also for every quart of make-up oil you add. Extend your OCI by 1710 miles on M1 0w-40. Just make sure your filter is adequate.

No UOA's for any car.
The Mercedes is spot on mileage, I change oil once a year around 12k miles +/- 500 miles.

The Honda is changed once a year too at around 5k miles, I may extend it to 2 years at around 10k miles.

The Lexus is once a year at around 13-14k miles.

Only Lexus is top off about 1 quart in 1 year, others didn't have to add any oil.

Your calculator seems to be accurate for some engines and too conservative for others.

The Pennzoil Ultra 5w-20 SM has a massive TBN of 13.0.
For the Lexus, the quart of make-up oil gives me 9100 miles or 12 months. While Synpower SM has a TBN of 8.5.

Mustang on M1 0w-20/0w-40: 10115 or 13 months Dodge truck: 9341 miles or 12 months
Harley: Ill give you a range 4775-6262 miles or 5-7 months
