DENSO 150-2021 CUT OPEN

Yes, AAP owns "Carquest" branding but I think the carquest is part of a franchise set-up.....
While there may be some franchised stores similar to Napa stores, as the link shows AAP owns the CQ name and the vast majority of CQ stores with the purchase of GPI in 2013. So, the answer provided to pbm, accurate as posted.

Yeah, that sounds right. Not disputing anything just to be clear & just trying to learn from the smart ones.

No complaints. Had a 2-3 second startup rattle with the OEM setup if the vehicle sat for more than a day. That is now gone with the Baxter Performance setup. I like the air hose evac system to drain the filter for removal and not a drop of oil dripped when removed. My pictures in this post show what oil remained inside when I cut the filter open.

I will say for anybody considering the Baxter Performance system for the Pentastar, be committed to doing all your own oil changes going forward or have a shop you can trust to know how to use the air evac system setup or you will have a mess when they remove the oil filter.
Did you consider the remote setup - and if so what led you to this type ?
I think the remote kit is over priced - but with just the Baxter adapter you could do the rest for another hundred …

Never really considered it beyond dismissing the idea right away due to not knowing where I would put it on my Jeep Gladiator.
