Are these the Denso Filters made in Thailand by chance? Seems Denso doesn't make stuff in Japan any longer. I have always felt Denso sold good stuff. Not sure how good this filter is compared to lets say a WIX, I guess it comes down to price point? Jeff

Packaging says Made in China. I purchased a couple as part of a Rockauto order at $3.02 each. Sam

I believe Denso still makes filters in Japan for the JDM only though.

Denso OEM filters are made in Japan, and for some OEM service supply. The rest are made in Thailand or China. I wouldn't hesitate to use a Denso filter.
