Interesting video of an Isuzu mechanic in Japan.

Video starts out with the mechanic waking up in his apartment. He next reports to work, takes a breathalyzer, takes his temperature, changes into his uniform, and then does calisthenics with the entire shop.

Fascinating look at Japanese blue collar worker culture.

That is definitely a cool video, shows you exactly what it's like in another part of the world.. Always nice to get a different perspective! thanks @GON for posting this!

Yes, very interesting.
We watch NHK Newsworld -a Japanese made news and cultural highlights show- before Jeopardy just to see different stuff like this.

I wonder if these videos were made to attract young workers to a particular industry.
The main characters and settings are so humanized.

Great vid, thanks. I have always found Japan's culture fascinating, always enjoyed my business trips there, despite the tiredness and occasional hangover; typically, we were with very entertaining hosts.

I don't think you can challenge any workplace callies.
Drug testing is OK and callies, if part of the program at your workplace, are just that; a condition of employment.
If you don't want to do calies, don't take the job.

If you can substantiate a disability making the exercise a problem, you are exempt from it in the US due to the americans with disabilities act.

Hmm. Both videos show them driving automatics. And I thought that was America-only? :)
