I think you have very cheap gas in the US, and I don't quite understand why some people complain when gas prices are as low as 3 USD.

Because they can.

The situation is the same as always! The demand for oil/gas is going up and because the oil cartel won'r raise the production of oil the prices rises and more money is put into there pockets at our expense. Too me it's nothing more than illegal acivity that is considered legal. My hood the price is now $3.32/gallon at ARCO. Our President better do something about this cuz no matter what he does to ease our pocket books there's someone taking it away.

Families in Norway do not drive Expeditions,Tahoes,Explorers and full size sedans.

$2.87 on the Missouri side of Kansas City today. The Kansas side is $2.94 due to higher gas taxes. Two weeks ago it was 20¢ less. Oil futures have leveled off and actually gone done a touch the past couple of day. But gas futures are level or up slightly.

After a Xmas trip to visit mom it no wonder prices are up. On I-70 if you were not running 80mph you got run over in the fast lane. If everyone would slow done 10% they would use 10% less. But I guess everyone is in a hurry to get out of their $50K luxo barges. It must be horrible to drive one of them.

We now pay about $3.35/gallon of regular gas so you Californians be prepared for $4.00 gas prices by June easy.

When the government tries to save us a little money it just goes into someone elses wallet in the end. In the end were not actually saving money in any form.

You know it's funny on the other side of the state, St. Louis area, it's the same price as Kansas. It wasn't that bad coming back yesterday but I ran at 75mph. Truthfully I probably would of only got .5mpg better in the Escape if I went any slower. Not worth it as many tims as I've made that trip.. almost could do it in my sleep! Got 19.9 in Escape fully loaded, 34 and 39 in the Festiva going the same speeds.

Paid $2.93 for 87 @ a Valero outside of Dayton Friday Night.
Had been paying the same for 87 @ a Marathon on my commute route all week. The pricing configuration on my route seems to have changed recently (and I have driven it over 13 years.) The group that has traditionally has been the cheapest has gone over 3$ and stayed there. Those who have traditionally been the highest priced are under 3$ and seem to be dropping price at least a penny every other day or at least staying under 3$. Strange, but I'll take any break I can get.
