CV Joint question

100% i was there last month.
They are right on harvard tpke. right near the N Grafton/Shrewsbury line.

with halfshafts so cheap these day,I wonder why people even bother to clean and rebuild them. Faster just to swap them out for new ones.

Do enlighten us, just how is the general description "halfshaft" old terminology? Does it not still denote that each is one-half of a complete axle? Or, do axles in your world consist of thirds?

Just do a search at any of the auto parts suppliers. Nobody uses that term anymore; it causes too much confusion.

Yeah, I know, but have you ever heard of anyone inquiring about their "third-shaft"?
