Current AMSOIL two stroke recommendations

How do you premix oil and gas for oil injected? Mix really lean and account for the oil that will be injected?
Add some oil to the gas just a little bump of oil.
If you're only going to ever rely on the oil injection and run whatever ratio that's set for (thinking something that will allow for passing epa emissions testing) the amsoil is always going to be better in that case.
But if you go with a locally bought premium FD rated oil, fill your oil tank with that and then add a little 2 stroke oil bump to your gas. Let's say between 2 and 3cc of oil per tenth of a gallon of gas, or 20 to 30cc per gallon. That way you're running like 100:1 to 200:1 ratio gas plus whatever the oil injection adds. Say the oil injection system is only doing oil at 70:1 running straight gas and oil only from the oil tank. Bumping the gas with some 2 stroke oil can bring that down to less scary 50:1 over all ratio for better engine longevity.

I’m thinking you’ve got some of your calculations backwards? Ratios are usually stated as fuel/oil…as in 100 parts gas to 1 part oil for example. 🥴
Anyways, maybe I’ve got what oil pan is trying to say. He’s talking what the ratio is in the gas tank with a shot of oil in it, then the injected oil/gas on top of that I guess.
Best thing to ease the mind, is disconnect the oil injection system and premix the total fuel.
