It's not simple at all. Why are the manufacturing jobs going overseas? Obviously because it's cheaper. There's already a demand for what me make, and what we used to make. It's not the demand it's the price. The plaintive cries need to be directed not at the people whose parents and grandparents lost their jobs but rather at the politicians and the corporations who own them.
 
I stay away from tools that are not USA, just my personal opinion.
S&K are a great value since Snap-On are way out of my price range.
Since te staple tools are only really purchased once a lifetime, I want a USA made tool in my hands
