Could Redline Break-In Additive Bump Up My Silicon

Hi all, I just did a used oil analysis of Amsoil 5w40 on my Honda s2000, for 5000 miles. They flagged silicon as being elevated, at 20ppm. I run a stock intake system, the filter is in very good condition and the system looks great. I used 5 oz of Redline Engine Break-In additive to the oil. I did a search of the product and saw a VOA of the additive and which showed 158 ppms of silicon. I think normal silicon for my car would be about 6ppms, would the additive be enough to bump Si up to 20ppms?. If so it would relieve my mind. Any opinions?. Link of VOA of product below:

The native oil can have around 8-10 ppm.

20 ppm is nothing in 5K miles. Plus running an additive with that much Si, I'm actually surprised your Si is not more elevated.

Thanks for the reply on this Pablo. You put my mind at ease, lol. I forgot to consider what the native oil would contain in virgin form, that makes sense, Much appreciated !

I don't see the need or reason to add the RL ZDDP additive in the S2000 engine.

No either did I once I seen my used oil analysis. I thought it would be interesting to try it since the additive levels in Amsoil 5w40 were watered down from the previous formula. I don't think it did anything for me.

Which Amsoil 5w40? IIRC neither AFL or DEO have changed since their inceptions. One is a Euro 5w40, the other is a CJ-4 5w40.

Don't feel bad, I have some of the stuff I bought before I realized the oils I use contain enough ZDDP in my applications.

In fact, I and a few members in the GTA are soon going to try Fuchs totally zinc free oil:

I ran the current formulation of the Euro formula 5w40. The formula had a beefier additive package in the past,then they removed some additives and lowered the level of others ala low SAPS. The newer version definitely has lower additive levels. There are fluid samples of both formulas on this site somewhere, not sure of the dates for the change. Probably doesn't really matter.
