Dealer body shops tend to suck. Don't be fooled thinking there're required to fix it according to manufactures specs using OEM parts.

Its not as bad as it looks, even the door and hood look okay. There doesn't seem to be any structural or suspension damage the only little pull may be fender and bumper cover mounting in the front, not a big hit at all mostly cosmetic from the pictures.

Whether or not they do, it's another layer of "legitimate business" to stand behind the work.

That tire mark on your door reminds me that Rubbin is racin.

Take it to 3 of the better body shops you know of and ask each for an estimate, present the three estimates to the adjuster and ask him/her which one they prefer. You have to grab the bull by the horns to ensure you are treated fairly.

Looks like it got the headlamp assembly too. Curious how expensive these new Corolla LED headlamps are. I know when my wife nailed a deer with my in-laws 2014 Rogue with HID headlamps, one replacement assembly was around $800 IIRC.

The "before strip down" estimate is $3500. Should get vehicle back 5/2 or there abouts.

Just like any mechanic, it comes down to the quality of the work. Some mechanics have no pride in the quality of their work and do a [censored] job.... dealership or not.

Got the Corolla back today. I must say, Progressive and the Toyota body shop made this a seamless experience. Great customer care and craftsmanship. Very pleased. Also great just getting the car back.

That shop is just north of Country Walk where my brother used to live.

Yup, that's the one. Good work and always kept me abreast of the situation with calls every other day. I live just east of Country Walk, in Cindi's Place.
