I need an odd size tire. 235 60r15

See mostly these 2 tires. Both made in Mexico I think.
Anyone have feedback on these. They are for my 67 GTX it needs tires bad.

If I had a classic muscle car from the 60's and lived in Florida, I wouldn't cheap out putting Mexican made all-season tires on it. I'd spend the money on
Firestone bias ply tires from Coker Tire. That car was before my time, but I'm guessing those white letter tires didn't exist when that car was made and you'd be
throwing a late 70's look on the car with the improper tires. I would choose the BF Goodrich over the Coopers. Both of those tires use 1980's technology

Coker only has redlines or bf Goodrich in my size. I want white letter tires. I would have purchased firestone wide ovals if they had my size and they were not 325 bucks each

I like the Coopers a little better but if you can get the BFs cheaper then go for them.

I'd take the Coopers over the BFG for that kind of tire. The Cooper Cobra looks more like a modern tire, has a higher speed rating (T vs S) and has a 50k warranty. The BFG Radial T/A is an old tire from 1980 and has no warranty.

Will 225/70-15 fit? Because that size will give you a much wider selection of real tires

You'd use bias ply tires over modern radials?

Actually, for Florida, the Pirelli P6000 is available in the OP's size, a radial summer tire.

P6000 are not white letter so they are out.

Now that you brought it back up I was considering the 225/70/15 That might be my best bet. It will make the car a little taller and the tire will fill up the front wheel well a little better.

I out 225/70/14 Firestone Raised White Letter tires on our very original 1965 4-4-2. They are close to the original height, which was 7.75/14 I believe.
I hate 'em, too tall for my eye. The letters look wrong.
I would do the 60 series, with a thin white stripe; but that's just me.

Heck, we have such limited options for our 60's cars.
I have 2: my beloved Oldsey and a 1968 L36 Corvette Roadster.

I've had those cooper cobras in the past.. they are all look and quite below average in every way except appearance.

The BFG are at best equal to the Coopers in my experience, if that. Neither are great as they are old style tires made for classic cars.
I had to buy new wheels for my 73 Chevy as there is not really any great options in 15" anymore. But 245/45-17 there are a lot more so that is what I went for.

Well the market for raised white letter tires in 15 inch is tiny. So I guess I am stuck with the choice of these two.

Looks like I'll try the Cooper

Put the Cooper cobra on today. Seems like an ok tire so far after 35 miles

The are nice and fresh and as suspected made in Mexico.
