I'd take the Coopers over the BFG for that kind of tire. The Cooper Cobra looks more like a modern tire, has a higher speed rating (T vs S) and has a 50k warranty. The BFG Radial T/A is an old tire from 1980 and has no warranty.
Will 225/70-15 fit? Because that size will give you a much wider selection of real tires

Firestone bias ply tires from Coker Tire. That car was before my time, but I'm guessing those white letter tires didn't exist when that car was made and you'd be
throwing a late 70's look on the car with the improper tires. I would choose the BF Goodrich over the Coopers. Both of those tires use 1980's technology

Actually, for Florida, the Pirelli P6000 is available in the OP's size, a radial summer tire.
