Cooper cobra vs bf Goodrich radial t/a

If I had a classic muscle car from the 60's and lived in Florida, I wouldn't cheap out putting Mexican made all-season tires on it. I'd spend the money on
Firestone bias ply tires from Coker Tire. That car was before my time, but I'm guessing those white letter tires didn't exist when that car was made and you'd be
throwing a late 70's look on the car with the improper tires. I would choose the BF Goodrich over the Coopers. Both of those tires use 1980's technology

Coker only has redlines or bf Goodrich in my size. I want white letter tires. I would have purchased firestone wide ovals if they had my size and they were not 325 bucks each

I'd take the Coopers over the BFG for that kind of tire. The Cooper Cobra looks more like a modern tire, has a higher speed rating (T vs S) and has a 50k warranty. The BFG Radial T/A is an old tire from 1980 and has no warranty.

Actually, for Florida, the Pirelli P6000 is available in the OP's size, a radial summer tire.
Will 225/70-15 fit? Because that size will give you a much wider selection of real tires

Actually, for Florida, the Pirelli P6000 is available in the OP's size, a radial summer tire.
I out 225/70/14 Firestone Raised White Letter tires on our very original 1965 4-4-2. They are close to the original height, which was 7.75/14 I believe.
I hate 'em, too tall for my eye. The letters look wrong.
I would do the 60 series, with a thin white stripe; but that's just me.
Heck, we have such limited options for our 60's cars.

I had to buy new wheels for my 73 Chevy as there is not really any great options in 15" anymore. But 245/45-17 there are a lot more so that is what I went for.
