Thinking about it.

Haven't gotten the previous car back yet. Maybe it can sit at the shop awhile and I just get this. Who knows. Thinking I may like this one more.. only I would be able to drive it, a la Stick (none of my friends can drive stick.)

What would be your thoughts, would you make this guy an offer?

Thing making me ? is it is from Queens NYC

So it's probably never had an oil change

I should buy it for that reason alone.

Then I'll have two Subarus.

Plenty of Subarus from that era are 5 speeds.
Are you going to insure 2 cars?
My wife grew upon in Brooklyn. Auto insurance cost are absurd there.
Are you "enjoying being" how you usually are?

Why would you ask a basic question about what is needed to drive a car offering very little to the actual car in question?

Oh, and good job of diffusing the situation, OVERKILL. I was about to deliver to Mr. Unhelpful Mazda a dose of his own medicine.

Can you afford to own, operate and repair two older cars with this number of unknowns? That should be the determining factor.
If he has to wait until he gets paid before buying motor oil, he probably has no business owning an extra car.

Thank you, also, for your opinion.

I probably will buy this if. I figure how...

The potholes in NYC are CRATERS!!!!!!!!!! Fully inspect the underside and suspension.

I really like Subbie wagons...
