was thinking it might be cool to put all the energy saving threads in one place.

might fit well under the alternative fuels section.
 
Its a good idea, but there some here that would start their "There is plenty of oil and we don't need to conserve" Then it would probably turn into a Grobal Worming debate.
 
Al: You're probably right. But I don't get it. I'm very much interested in energy conservation, no matter what the temperature is. The more you can conserve, the less you have to pay for out of pocket. Since energy is not as cheap as it used to be, it seems like a rational economic decision.

But what seems obvious, common sense, and in the individual self-interest of one man is a nefarious communist plot to another man. It is just the world we live in.

Would it be restricted to non-vehicular energy savings? If it isn't it will get sidetracked off into endless turbulator, magic spark plug and fuel line magnet threads.
