Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks

Lynch just threw that guy out of the way with one arm..... I loved Matt Hasselbeck running down field trying to block.
I hope we play Chicago......But after this game maybe playing Atlanta would be OK.
Just feel like over the last few years we have been able to beat Chicago at times.

Just saw the Carlson play where he played like he fell down then ran to the corner to catch a touchdown.......sweet!

I guess that's why they actually play these games.
That Lynch run was amazing.

I bet you guys are licking your chops at playing us....

I can't say that I'm sorry to see the Saints out of the playoffs

They were a dangerous team with Brees so elusive in the pocket and always looking deep.

The Falcons will host either Seattle or Green Bay.
The Georgia Dome will be loud

The Superbowl Champions Saints were decimated with injuries this year. Top two running backs out today, and missed many other defensive and offensive players during the regular season. Still almost pulled off a remarkable rally at the end of the game in road game. I guess the Saints will just have to get healed up and stronger for next year -- and enjoy their Superbowl Champion rings in the meantime!

In fact, if you had a sense of humor about this whole thing, or had given me more than three minutes to respond, I might have congratulated you on an impressive win.

I suppose I could wait until Seattle is eliminated and then said "I told you so". I won't though. Although I might remind you that Portland's one major league franchise has won more championships than all of Seattle's. Unless you're counting the Storm

Superbowl? I think not. One miracle at a time.

I'm so stupid. I knew at the very least N.O. would not cover the spread and I actually thought Seattle had a chance based on last week's game against the Rams, how Seattle did against NO earlier and all of NO's injuries. I should have bet the farm!! Oh well.

Lynch? Most incredible post season run I have ever seen.

I did not realize you changed the post...... I did not think their chances of winning were good. But as long as you are still playing you have the potential to beat any team on any given day.
Our many times hopeless teams make us sensitive to having people take pot shots at our teams. I have a good sense of humor though it's hard to convey that on forums.

I didn't edit any post, but no matter now. Best of luck to Seattle the rest of the way. I'm more focused on the BCS title game right now. If Oregon loses, I WILL going into hiding for a few weeks.

Don't feel bad, the Saints are the reigning champs, and its hard to pick against that regardless. It did not surprise me at all NO did not win, though. I told my wife before the game it was gonna be REEEEEAL tough to win on the road, missing two top running backs, top reciever, and starting safety...

I know they had injuries. And they had more than average. But so do other teams. Maybe they need a new strength coach.

8-9 and in the second week of the playoffs. That's funny.

Their defense was barely applying pressure to Brees. Would love to see Seahawks @ Bears.

Da Bears.

I meant title to the thread....

Thanks
I'm rooting for Oregon in the game. In fact I root for PNW teams in general. As long as they are not playing Washington teams that is. I love seeing Washington or Oregon teams thump on any California teams.
I was living in California and Oregon for 3 1/2 years from 2004-2007. But I still rooted for the NW teams.

Greenbay seems to be looking good right now playing the Eagles. I hope they win......
