Coffee - Your Current Brew

McDonald’s just added this to the menu here in Canada for a limited time and I’m anxious to try it! The location I went to yesterday didn’t have it yet though but I will make it my mission to find it in the next few days 🤓View attachment 273947

The ingredients are interesting 😄

It comes near the expiration date and is stale
Had that happen to me on a six-pack of Community Coffee Breakfast Blend Medium Roast. Was sort of expecting that as I only paid $3.65 a 12 oz bag. But it did have 4 months to go on the expire date.

I tried a different flavor of cold brew at McDonald’s yesterday and it was better than the Cookie Butter Oat one that I had a few days ago but still not as good as the regular iced coffee. But I like the extra caffeine in the cold brew so hopefully I find another one that I like better

Do they actually serve it in a glass cup in Canada for dine-in?

Finishing up my final bag of One Nation Coffee, 'Tastes Like Freedom' beans. Finished my MOAB (Mother Of All Blends) last month. Sadly, this excellent, veteren/LEO owned company filed bankruptcy late last year. Roasted some of the best coffee. Gonna miss them.
@SC Maintenance, they were in Summerville, did you ever have some of their stuff?

Never heard of them unfortunately. Lowcountry coffee roasters, Charleston Coffee Roasters, Coastal Coffee Roasters, but No Mother of all blends?

Still no, but I looked them up and it appears they had no retail store front - just the roaster business, and I have never seen them in a local store that I recall. Unfortunate.

I imagine the coffee roasting business is pretty tough.
It has to be tough. Just the cost of shipping makes their products significantly more expensive than locally purchased beans from either a small local roaster or even grocery store beans. Places like Whole Foods and The Fresh Market have some decent offerings.
I'm not a fan of the 12oz. bag of beans either
The sales and specials many online roasters have are often near stale or overbought crap that didn't sell because it was lousy.
