What does ITD mean? Is it supposed to be a commonly known acronym?

What have you found about how the grind effects the taste? So I’ve upped my coffee game a lot more and bought myself a 1Zepresso JX Pro S. The Hario was a good intro to grinding but it isn’t consistent. The JX has a much more consistent grind and it’s faster and easier. I’m also amazed how grind affects the taste. I’m experimenting now.
First thing I learned from the Hario was that the inconsistent grinds gave me both coarser and fairly fine grounds. My coffee tasted muddy. I’m guessing from the fines? Switched to the moccamaster and using the recommended settings from 1Zepresso it gave me a very strong coffee. I’ve backed it off to a coarser grind over the past 3 brews and it’s getting much more to my liking. I’m now at #4 which to my eye is more of a medium coarse grind. Probably not a coincidence that Moccamaster recommends a medium coarse grind. But I am just at the beginning of my journey. As of just a couple months ago I was using FolgersWhat have you found about how the grind effects the taste?
Thanks for your explanation. I used a slightly coarser grind this morning because of your comment. I think I noticed somewhat better flavor, but and I will play around with the grind a little more.First thing I learned from the Hario was that the inconsistent grinds gave me both coarser and fairly fine grounds. Is that the coffee sold at Whole Foods? I think that's the roaster I've seen in WF markets. This stuff is not near as good as their other decaf whole beans. Interesting, not terrible. Well, will use for blending.

I opened my second bag of these that I bought late May and smell was atrocious. Something went very very wrong. They smell old and moldy. Only worse. This is incredibly inexpensive and will blend with my bling coffees. $17 for 2.5 pounds - and is swiss water decafed. View attachment 141123
