2004 350Z, 55K miles, no codes before. Filled up with Shell premium gas and SES light came on when I got up to speed. Stopped at AAP and they checked for codes resulting in four: P1031, P 1051, P1148, and P 1168. According to the AAP guy, he said these codes are probably computer (ECM) related and I should go to the Nisaan dealership for correct diagnosis and repair. The codes actually indicate problems with the a/f and oxygen sensors in both bank 1 and bank 2. Is it possible all these sensors failed at once, or is the AAP guy correct and these are probably computer related. I also wondered about the coincidence with the fuel fill up and if the gas may have triggered the code somehow. I think I can replace the sensors myself, but dont want to spend the bucks to fix, then still have the codes because its computer related. My thought is to take to the Nissan dealership and pay them the $90 to diagnose and tell me the repair, but wanted advice from others who may have seen these codes together before. Thanks.
