True that, but up until 2011 when the Amsoil test was done, the only published Motorcraft spec was the 80%@20um posted by the OP, which in this thread resurrection was 2010. Iirc, the OP posted he is now running the less expensive FL820S because of the Amsoil test.


+1 ... there was a lot of talk back at that time about how Motorcraft/Ford rated their oil filters. A few members here even tried to contact Ford and get more specific information, but Ford just had this "80% @ 20 microns" that nobody could move off of ... until Amsoil published their ISO testing info. Amsoil actually did Ford a favor by publishing that info.
