Choosing between Amsoil and Mystik for wheel bearing grease

I'm hand-packing some new tapered roller bearings (Timken Set2 and A6) for a '67 Dodge. I've got a choice of 2, maybe 3 greases (stuff I already have). I've looked at their specs and wanted to get an opinion as to which is the "best" to use. Hopefully this isin't like asking how many angels can dance on the head of a pin...

Both are lithium complex, GC-LB, NLGI #2, no moly

Candidate 1 is:
Mystic Hi-temp Multi-Purpose EP Lithium Complex (red in color). Possible product ID numbers are: 028-0860-6 or 044871999896 (bar code) or 715095

Possibly I have an older version (with black bands on top and bottom of the tube) compared to what is currently on retail shelves.

Candidate 2 is:
Amsoil Synthetic water-resistant grease (blue in color) Calcium Sulfonate thickener

Comparing specs (Amsoil tube has some specs printed on the tube, a couple are different vs on-line PDF data sheet like water washout and 4-ball weld). First spec is Amsoil, second is Mystik:

Water washout: (1.25% on the label / 0.8% on paper) vs 2.5%
Dropping point > 600 vs 550
Worked Penetration 280 vs 265-295
Oil Separation: 0% vs 1%
4-ball wear .42 mm vs .45
4-ball EP weld point (500 kg on the label / 550 on paper) vs 315
Timken OK load ASTM D2509: 60 lbs Amsoil, not given by Mystik
Oil Viscosity @ 40C: 220 vs 630

The Amsoil has water washout %1.25 printed on the label vs 0.8% in the spec sheet, Mystik is a little higher at 2.5%.

4-ball EP weld point also some diff's for Amsoil (500 or 550) but Mystik comes in at 315.

Viscosity is very different - 220 for Amsoil, 630 for Mystik.

The blue Amsoil feels like a cream, the Mystik feels more stringy. What should I make of the viscosity differences between them?

Assuming I'm not driving with my axles under water (ever), which of these is the better wheel bearing grease?

A third candidate is Wakefield Lithium grease LNGI #2 4410181, but I can find no actual specs for it and I don't see CG-LB on the label.

Grease is not that critical of a thing IMO, at least in this application. Either will work no issues, between the packing intervals. What are the intervals by the way.

I venture to say that no one packs more bearings than guy who work on trailers and trailer axles, RVs and the like......it is about all they do. Most of the guys i know around here swear by Royal Purple Grease.

I have had ultra success with it in many things. As a matter of fact, I need to repack the bearings in my RV, and I will use RP when I do. I have no doubt Amsoil makes excellent grease, but have no first hand knowledge of its performance.

I've tried looking online for some RP grease examples and PDF spec files. I've found an RP industrial brochure that lists an "Ultra Performance" grease, with "SynSlide", it has a few specs (not that great) and I'd like to see a few more. This is an aluminum-complex grease, not sure if I want that for tapered roller bearings vs a lithium complex.

FWIW I’ve used Mystik grease in my TT wheel bearings for the last couple years. No issues with it whatsoever.

Just my $0.02

Had nothing but good experiences from Mystik red or clear #2 (green tube?).

Currently working through a few tubes of Mobil red that I got on clearance, but it's constantly dripping red juice from my grease gun. When I see the stuff at walmart it's the only grease that is in an red oil saturated box and sitting in a puddle.

i like to pack wheel bearings in either Mobil synthetic or mobil delvac. i have also had good results with lucas geeen HD.

we used Mobil 1 grease (red) at work,,it seperates alot but works ok in smaller bearings, we switched over to # 274 Schaeffer's grease, Aluminum complex it's a much better grease with no failures, the Mystik and Amsoil are excellent greases also , myself use Mystik JT-6 SynBlend 665051002 , (blue color) found this to be very good grease in most all applications including NLGI certified needs.

I had P66 Megaplex do that. And turned to weird white residue just from rain (used it on some equipment).
And stringy... made greasing and not making a pigsty mess tough. Ended up tossing a few boxes vs dealing with it!
