Seriously, I have my problem now because of my live-and-let-live attitude. When I first saw them moving into my yard, they were well away from anything that could be damaged so I let them be. Big mistake. Huge mistake. That wasn't enough for them and now they're tunneling under my sidewalk and it looks like their work caused the landing slab for the steps off of my back deak to sink and cause damage to the stairs.
This is now war...
Yes, they have undermined my driveway that cost 7000.00 to pave and it is collapsing and cracking.
But there wasn't a paved driveway before.
and there was no house before 1981.
So I am not not HAPPY about that.
But I just say, Oh well.
I have other, more pressing issues to worry about.
In the meanwhile, The Neighbors cat comes over and sits at the entrance to the tunnel.
Funny that the Owls seem more active at night and and the chipmunks are active during the day - unlike mice.
I directly abut a giant State Forest, so, Nature abounds.
