I have a Stihl MS-211C. 18” bar. I need a new chain. I see it takes a 3/8 pitch with 0.050” gauge. Looks like here it is referencing a 61 tooth chain.

Do I have to get a 61 tooth exact? I see Oregon and others make chains ever same spec but some are 68 tooth, 62 tooth, 72… etc.

Thanks.

I'm a fan of the oregon chain. its as good as anything and decent price.
That one is semi-pro chain "not anti-kickback" so it actually cuts good at more angles etc.

The correct chain is 3/8" Picco or in other chain designations 3/8" low pro.In NZ we cannot get such a long bar for a small chainsaw. Our part number would be 3686 000 0061.In the US the first four numbers may vary slightly.
