Cavity wax spraying?

The noxudol 700 has arrived today, got 7 cans of the stuff, will get a hold of the sprayer next and then do some research on a compressor before ordering it. Looking so far at a 50L 2.5hp unit but will need to read up more

Ok got the spray gun and compressor on order, just need to order in the air hose
Is it worth getting a 1/2 inch hose or is 3/8 going to be ok?

Are euro airline quick connect fittings all the same size regardless of hose diameter? As in does the connection side plug into the existing quick connects on air compressors?

Late to this thread so someone might have already mentioned it...

It doesn't matter how small your air compressor is, only that it has a tank and can build enough PSI.

It just goes a LOT slower, because you have to keep stopping to wait for it to build pressure up again. I'd buy a larger compressor for multiple air tools, but just to spray wax, I'd try what you have.

Ordered the 5/16 hose, it was cheaper than the 1/4 hose and comes with the quick connects. The 3/8 hose was more expensive and doesnt have quick connects which needs to be purchased as extras
Hopefully the 5/16 hose is sufficient. Got it in 10m length

I've actually been wondering about that all weekend. Thanks for clarifying.

It's amazing how Fluid Film creeps long after application. My son never washes his Camry and the bottoms of the doors turned very black, and it kept creeping along the outdoor door sheet metal.
When I had my truck sprayed with NH Coatings it would creep half way up the tailgate over the next few months.

Compressor arrived today, got the 50L 3hp 2.2kw one. Put the wheels on and gave it a quick test and it's working fine, just waiting for the air hose and wax injection gun to arrive now
This compressor cost me £165 delivered. So around 200usd.

I didn't realise you were in the UK too!

Do yourself a favour and get yourself Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 for the cavities and Bilt Hamber Dynax UC or UB for the underside. I've tried all sorts over the years and nothing comes close to the Dynax range!

Already bought £85 worth of noxudol so got to make use of it.
Will test this out then when all other parts arrive then store in the shed till warmer weather is upon us.
Can't even change a tyre in this cold weather

Finally got round to doing the waxing today. Ran into an issue, the cavity wax probe doesn't work. The 90 degree lance works fine and gun sprays fine without any attachments but I tried different pressure settings too and still didn't get the cavity probe to work it just pushes out air and no product.
Had it at 100psi too so not sure it's a pressure issue.
Maybe product needs to be thinner? It was already pouring freely like a thick gravy so just don't get why the 90 degree wand works fine but the cavity 360 doesn't do jack other than spit out a few blobs of the wax here and there.
Not sure if the wax needs to be thinner or maybe heated up for the cavity probe to work, will test with water first to see if it is a issue with it being too thick.

Looks like iv got this sorted out. Pressure makes no difference. The wax needs to just be thinner. Heat seems to be working.
This old kettle thats not been used for 2 years finally came in handy
