Will this combo work well for a 10,000 mile OCI? I am going to start changing my mom's oil (2007 Toyota Highlander V6). Thanks in advance for all of your feedback!

Well that is a tough one, I would do a UOA @6k to see where you could go from there if you want a serious approach. Edge has a higher TBN, and I'm not sure how that V6 is on oil so I wouls get a UOA it will tell you the health of the engine (to an extent) and give you a chance to save $$ in the long run possibly. Who kows you may be able to do 12K...

No, I believe she has been getting her oil changed with standard conventional oil.
Why would it be a problem to switch to full synthetic now and adopt and 10K OCI?

I don't believe in an OCI over 7,500 in any application. Oil isn't that expensive ....

You don't know my mom....she is a VERY busy person. The fewer times she has to bring it to me for an oil change...the happier she will be.
