It's been a while since I've used Castrol and posted my used oil analysis here

Saw a new jug of Edge yesterday and the design is updated, saying "superior GDI formula" and d1g2 of course.
Do you guys know if this oil's content is updated as well?
I stopped using it after seeing amounts of Calcium/Magnesium in used oil analysis

You're going to see calcium &/or magnesium in EVERY uoa you get done. If you don't see at least one of them, you probably used an API SA oil, which means you'll likely be replacing the engine soon.

Calcium and Magnesium are both detergents and dispersant in motor oil, all brands are going to use it at various levels and it will show up in all their used oil analysis
